7. Scholarships for cooperation between Hanban and receiving institutions

The Hanban cooperates with some receiving institutions to establish Confucius Institute Scholarships, named "XX University Confucius Institute Scholarship". Among them, one academic year of study, undergraduate and master's scholarships in Chinese international education will be enrolled by relevant colleges and universities in accordance with the standards stipulated in these Measures; "Chinese + vocational and technical training" scholarships shall be enrolled according to the standards announced by the relevant colleges and universities in the scholarship system (see Annex 3 for the enrollment categories and quotas of relevant colleges).

III. Processing process

Starting from March 1 every year, applicants can apply for Confucius Institute scholarships on the Confucius Institute Scholarship website (cis.chinese.cn).

Log in to the scholarship website of Confucius Institute to inquire about the recommended institutions and receiving colleges and universities; submit application materials online, pay attention to the application process, review opinions and scholarship evaluation results; scholarship recipients and colleges confirm the procedures for studying in China and print the award certificate online; register according to the time specified in the admission notice of receiving colleges and universities.

The application deadline is:

April 20th (July).

May 20th (September admission).

March 20 (December).

4. November 20 (admission in March of the following year).

The Han Office focuses on evaluation and merit-based funding. It completes the scholarship evaluation three months before admission and announces the evaluation results.

IV. About the winners of the Chinese Bridge

Those who won the "Confucius Institute Scholarship Certificate" in various Chinese bridge competitions of the year log in to the Confucius Institute Scholarship website and submit application materials to the target receiving institution with the scholarship certificate.

V. Recommended institutions and receiving institutions

Recommended institutions and receiving institutions shall fulfill their territorial responsibilities in accordance with these Measures to provide consulting, recommendation, enrollment and other services.

VI. Other

1. Relevant professional training programs and teaching courses can consult the target receiving institutions.

2. Applicants should know the specific enrollment conditions and registration deadline of the target receiving colleges and submit application materials in accordance with relevant regulations.

3. Academic students must participate in the annual evaluation. For details, please refer to the Measures for the Annual Evaluation of Scholarships of Confucius Institute.

4. If you fail to report on time, fail to pass the entrance physical examination, drop out of school halfway, suspend students, and be disqualified from scholarships.
