Instructions for application
(1) Admission conditions
Welcome to study in China. Before formally submitting an application for studying abroad to Chinese colleges and universities, please know the admission requirements to be met:
If you want to apply for admission to primary and secondary schools, please refer to the Administrative Measures for the Admission and Training of International Students in Schools.
To apply for admission to a university, please refer to the following conditions:
1. Basic conditions
* Non-Chinese citizens with legal and valid passports.
* Good health.
* No criminal record.
* During the study period, abide by Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese customs and school rules and regulations.
* At the time of admission, they shall, in principle be at least 18 years old; if they are under the age of 18 and their parents do not permanently reside in China, the parents of the applicant shall entrust a foreigner or Chinese resident in China as the guardian of the applicant and provide relevant supporting materials.
* If both or one of the parents is a Chinese citizen and has settled in a foreign country, and they have foreign nationality at birth, they do not have Chinese nationality; or those who are originally Chinese citizens and later become foreign nationals, they shall be implemented with reference to Extraorship Letter [2020] No. 12.

Have a high school degree or above, and pass the entrance examination or assessment of Chinese universities.

Postgraduate student
Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic ability shall be recommended by two associate professors or above to pass the entrance examination or assessment of Chinese universities; or if you graduate from a fresh bachelor's degree in a Chinese university with excellent grades, you are recommended to be exempt from the examination.

Doctoral student
Have a master's degree, recommended by two associate professors or above, and pass the entrance examination or assessment of Chinese universities.
3 years
Language learner
Those with a considerable degree or above in Chinese high school.
1-2 years
Ordinary students
Have a sophomore degree or above.
1-2 years
Senior Continuing Students
Those with a master's degree or a doctoral degree or above.
Within one year
Research scholar
Those with the title of associate professor or above.
Within one year
Short-term students
Those with a considerable degree or above in Chinese high school.

3. Language conditions
(1) If you choose a Chinese teaching project, you should have the corresponding Chinese proficiency (HSK scores for the Chinese proficiency examination must be provided, and if the applicant chooses Chinese language training or preparatory courses, it can generally be exempted).
(2) If you choose an English teaching project, you should have the corresponding English proficiency (generally, IELTS or TOEFL scores must be provided, and if the applicant's mother tongue is English, it can generally be exempted)

Textbook fee
Liberal arts colleges 240-600 yuan, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, sports and art schools are slightly higher.
The cost of meals
About RMB 800-1200 per person per month;
