First Scholarship Introduction

In order to develop friendly relations between Chinese trade unions and trade union organizations in various countries, enhance the friendship between the Chinese working class and the working class in various countries, and contribute to world peace, development, cooperation, workers' rights and interests and social progress, a Chinese language training scholarship (hereinafter referred to as scholarships) for national trade union cadres along the Belt and Road Initiative has been established.

Scholarships are mainly set up for trade union cadres from countries along the Belt and Road Initiative to fully subsidize scholarship recipients to come to China for a one-year Chinese study, including tuition, accommodation, living expenses, comprehensive insurance and one-time round-trip international travel expenses. The project is funded by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.

Funding category: Outstanding trade union cadres of state trade unions along the Belt and Road Initiative who have certain work experience come to China to study Chinese language.

Economy class (one-time)

● Cost of living: During the period of scholarship subsidy, living expenses are paid monthly by the school to students. Scholarship students who register before the 15th day of the current month (including the 15th) shall be paid the full-month living expenses; those who register after the 15th day shall be paid half a month of living expenses; if the graduates' living expenses shall be paid half a month after the graduation date determined by the school; if the scholarship student leaves China for personal reasons for more than 15 days during the semester (except normal holidays), the living expenses during the period of leaving China shall be suspended.

● Tuition fee: Tuition fees are used by the school as a whole and are used for the training, management and organization of activities for scholarship students.

● Accommodation fee: The accommodation fee is used by the school as a whole, and the school provides free on-campus dormitories.

● One-time round-trip international travel expenses: It is coordinated by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions to buy international air tickets (economy class) to and from their home country to the city where the school is located when they first come to China and return home.

Application criteria:

1. Non-Chinese citizens from countries along the Belt and Road Initiative are preferred.

2. Physical and mental health.

3. Must have a high school degree or above, and be under the age of 45.

4. Must have certain trade union work experience; those who have exchange work experience with China are preferred.

5. He did not receive other scholarships from the Chinese government at the same time.

Second, list of application materials

1. " Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarships (Chinese or English);

2. Notarized certificate of the highest academic qualification. Texts other than Chinese and English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation;

3. Study transcript. Texts other than Chinese and English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation;

4. Come

Chinese study or research plan (no less than 500 words, written in Chinese or English);

5. Applicants under the age of 18 must submit relevant legal documents of legal guardians in China;

6. Applicants who have studied in China for more than 6 months must submit a scanned copy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (the original is kept by themselves, and this form is uniformly printed by the Chinese Health and Quarantine Department. The template is attached and must be filled in English). Applicants should be checked in strict accordance with the items required in the Physical Examination Form for Foreigners. The Foreigner Physical Examination Form, which is missing, not pasted with his photo or without the riding seal on the photo, without the signature and seal of the doctor and the hospital is invalid. Since the examination results are valid for 6 months, please determine the time of your physical examination accordingly;

7. Personal resume (personal background information and study and work experience after high school) (uploaded to "other supporting materials" in the system).

Note: Applicants must provide real and valid corresponding documents in accordance with the above list, and upload clear scanned copies in the online application system. Application materials that do not meet the above requirements will affect the admission results of the applicant.

Third application process

Step 1: The applicant prepares the corresponding documents according to the list of application materials.

Step 2: Visit the "Study in China" website and click the "Chinese Government Scholarship Management Information System for Studying in China" icon to enter the application system.

Step 3: The types of overseas study projects and the number of acceptance institutions are required in the "Management Information System for Chinese Government Scholarships to Study in China". Please select the type of "Category A" study abroad program, and the acceptance institution number is "00009".

After the applicant fills in, the system will automatically display the name of the acceptance department represented by the completed institution number. There is a corresponding relationship between the type of overseas study project and the number of the acceptance institution. If it is filled in incorrectly, the scholarship acceptance department will not be able to receive the online application information.

Step 4: Complete the entry of all application information and upload supplementary materials one by one according to the list on the left side of the page. Please ensure the correctness, authenticity and validity of the information and materials.

When filling in the "Language Proficiency and Learning Plan", please select according to the following categories:

Application Category: General, Application Language: Chinese, Application Subject Category: Literature

Application major: Chinese language, application institution I: Beijing Language and Culture University (since this project is a centralized class study, please choose "None" for the application institution II and III.

Application time: September 1 of that year to July 15 of the following year

Step 5: Please check the information and supplementary materials carefully before submitting the application.

Step 6: Before the application is accepted, the applicant can modify the submitted application by clicking "Withdraw and Modify Application". After the application is withdrawn, the applicant must submit it again after editing, otherwise the application will not be accepted.

Step 7: It is recommended that the applicant click "Print Application" to download the application form.

Fourth Instructions for coming to China

I. Visa to China

Candidates who have obtained the scholarship qualification must hold the original and copy of the Acceptance Notice, the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW201) and the Physical Examination Form for Foreigners, as well as their valid ordinary passport to apply to the Chinese visa authorities abroad such as the Chinese Embassy (Consulate General). Please apply for a study visa in China (for those who have studied in China for more than six months, they must apply for an "X1" visa; for those who have studied for less than six months, they can apply for an "X2" visa). Those who come to China with other types of passports, visas or the originals of the above documents will not be registered by the school, nor will they be able to apply for residence in China.

All expenses incurred for applying for a visa to China are at your own expense.

II. Registration, health certification and residence permit

1. Registration and registration

Scholarship winners must hold the originals of the Admission Notice, the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students to China (JW201) and the Physical Examination Form for Foreigners, and report to the designated school and go through the registration procedures according to the admission date specified in the Admission Notice. Those who are unable to report on time for some reason should directly ask for leave from the relevant school. Those who fail to register within the time limit without the approval of the school will be automatically abandoned, and the scholarship qualifications obtained will be automatically cancelled.

2. Health certification and residence permit

Health certification: Scholarship students who have studied in China for more than six months must go to the health and quarantine department where the school is located to apply for health certification with the original passport, Admission Notice, Foreigner Physical Examination Form, blood test form and other documents. Those who fail the Foreigner's Physical Examination Form will be required to undergo a new medical examination. Those who refuse to accept the physical examination or are found to have diseases that are not allowed to enter China by Chinese law will be within a time limit for departure and return to China.

Residence permit: After the scholarship students arrive in China, they must go through the residence permit procedures at the public security department where the school is located with their passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW201 Form), valid health certification and photos that meet the regulations within the time limited by the visa authority.
